Riding programs and lesson packages are available for all levels of riders. We don't just teach our students how to ride a horse we teach them proper horsemanship from the ground up. Instilling good core values such as; patience, work ethic, responsibility, empathy, team work and more...

Horses are incredible animals that have so much to offer from helping you de-stess after a long day, to enjoying a fun social activity with like minded people. The immense positive benefits and valuable life lessons they teach are incredible. Memories and experiences that will last a life time.

Programs & Lesson Rates

How it works: If you are a beginner and new to horseback riding then the best place to start is with one of our well designed programs. We will teach you everything you need to know about how to ride.

If you have prior riding experience we will book you in for a trial riding lesson. The trial lesson will give us the opportunity to assess your skill level, discuss goals and make a plan to find the right lesson for your needs.

REGULAR MONTHY RIDING LESSONS
Semester's are as followed: Fall - Sept to Dec Winter - Jan/Feb Spring - March to June Summer - July/Aug Regular Monthly Riding Lessons includes 4 lessons per month Semi Private and group lessons require that the rider can saftely lead, groom, and tack up a horse on their own. Private & Semi-private lesson spots can not be guarenteed during prime time lesson hours during our busy season from May to Oct. Please add 13% HST. Commitment required for the semester.

Competitive and Dedicated Rider Program
Using a school horse: $430 Boarders/ Leasers: $375 2 weekly lessons Semi-Private Dressage / Group Jumping Add an additional weekly lesson (group or 30min private dressage) or training ride for $130 per month, $150 if riding a school horse. Discounts on trailering and coaching at shows

How do I pay for my program?

Payment is easy! If you are registering for a program the price is a one time payment made via e-mail money transfer to [email protected]

Once payment and registration forms have been completed you are officially registered!

No refunds once lessons/programs have been booked.

How do I pay for my lessons?

You may pay in advance for the full semester via e-mail money transfer. Or you may pay for your first month via e-mail money transfer to confirm your spot and then provide post dated cheques dated the the 1st of each month for the remainder of the semester. There will be a $35 NSF fee for any returned cheques or payments made after the 1st of the month. No refunds for lessons.

How many spots are available?

That entirely depends on the type of program it ranges from 6 to 12. For monthly riding lessons the maximum in a group lesson is 6 riders. All spots are first come first serve.

I am going to be absent for one of my lessons what should I do?

If you are going to be absent from your lesson please complete the make up lesson request form here: ABSENT & MAKE UP REQUEST

If you are in regular monthly riding lessons you may get 1 make up lesson per month if you have provided us with a minimum of 48hrs notice in advance. Less than 48hrs notice no make up will be offered. No exceptions.

If you are in a program there will be no option for a make up lesson due to the nature of the program each week is specifically designed to build on the previous week.

I'm not sure if I want to commit to 8 week riding program what should I do?

We recommend that you come to one of our special open house days where we offer horse and pony rides or book a trial riding lesson to see if it's for you.

How do I book a trial riding lesson?

It's easy! Send us an e-mail to [email protected] and we will be happy to book it. Most trial lessons are booked for Sunday's at 5:30pm. The cost is $70+ tax and it will be a 1hr lesson.

Do you offer public trail riding?

No we do not. Because we are located right in town we do not have access to riding trails. We do however have a nice path around the property which is great for riding and cooling out during lessons.

Can I bring treats for the horses?

No we have a strict no treat policy. We have many horses and animals on special diets so for the safety of the animals we ask that you please do not feed any treats. We also do not want our animals to learn to bite/nip or beg for food. This can become dangerous.
